Tanmaya Bingham

{Tanmaya Bingham’s artworks investigate the mechanics of human dynamics and the neurological processes that create patterns in our daily lives.

Tanmaya’s focus is on psychological, sociological and genealogical patterns that occur within the context of herself and her immediate circles. Although the content of her work is highly personal, the themes are universal. Each artwork or series of artworks explore these themes and how they can be altered in the given context to create new patterns and thus new results.

Tanmaya chooses herself and her family and friends as her primary subjects because she believes that we learn through example and the stories of others. Therefore, each artwork, whether painting, sculpture, drawing or installation, is laden with symbolism.

When these concepts are delivered in visual form they become a metaphoric map that is meaningful for both the subject and the viewer.} ARTISTADAY.COM

GLAMOURPUSS

Iggy Azaela is the new face of House of Holland’s sunglass range…

{From her bold fashion statements as a hip-hop artist, Iggy is a perfect fit for the wild prints, neon colors and geometric eyewear of HOH. With a clear, azure sky backdrop behind her, Iggy rocks the bright lippie and signature tight blonde locks. But most importantly, along with inspiring us to get holiday ready, Iggy embodies the glamorous-but-daring individualism that is synonymous with the of House of Holland aesthetic. In a campaign brimming with rebellious attitude (and juicy Popsicle colors), we're convinced that it's a match made in heaven.} http://www.graziadaily.co.uk/fashion/archive/2012/10/17/hip-hop-sensation-iggy-azalea-models-for-new-house-of-holland-sunglasses-campaig.htm

ARGUMENTS WITH DREAMS: BUSDRIVER

{We're very pleased to announce that LA's one and only Busdriver is preparing a new album for Big Dada, to be released in the first half of next year. To mark this momentous event, we have one of the best free downloads we've ever offered you. Busdriver has put together a seven track EP which once again reminds us that, rather than being one of the most eccentric MCs out there, he's just one of the best MCs out there. Featuring guest appearances from Das Racist, Terra Lopez, Open Mic Eagle and Nocando, it's 'Driver's molten flow of words, images and off-key jokes that, as ever, impresses hardest. All we're asking in return for the "Arguing With Dreams" EP is your email address - so we can tell you when his new album is out. } http://bigdada.com/busdriver/

SCARY BEAUTIFUL

{We've seen many ugly shoes in our day, but a new pair dubbed "Scary Beautiful" is definitely the most treacherous footwear we've ever seen. The massive heels appear backwards on the foot, so the wearers feet point straight down the back, as if in ballet shoes, with their shin leaning against the front "heel" end of the design to balance. The shoes are a collaboration between artist Leanie van der Vyver and Dutch shoe designer RenĂ© van den Berg, and serve as a commentary on today's impossible standards of beauty.} http://shine.yahoo.com/the-thread-how-to/scariest-shoes-time-173900092.html

THE POODLE MOTH IS REAL

{The image, taken by Dr. Arthur Anker from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, is just one of 75 photos taken from Gran Sabana National Park in Venezuela and appears in a collection on the scientists Flickr page. The photo was investigated by Dr. Karl Shuker, a zoologist, science writer, and cryptozoologist.} REDORBIT.COM

After further investigation of the “Poodle Moth” they found it similar to a species called the Muslin Moth (Diaphora mendica).  The Muslin Moth is located in the Northern Hemisphere in the Russian Palearctic.

Below are images of the Muslin Moth obtained from Google Images.

Do you think the Muslin Moth resembles the Poodle Moth? I do!
