OFF THE WALL

{These eye-catching images are part of an initiative by the Wide Open Walls project, a collaboration by British, international and Gambian painters, where graffiti artists spend two weeks a year spray painting homes in the bush.} AP

{All of the villages targeted are set in the 85sq km Ballabu Conservation Project. Long term it is hoped the art will create revenue for the area through tourism and book sales and halt the flow of young people migrating to the cities.}
